I know that I’ve already shared pictures of Aili enjoying the playmat, but well, we don’t have much else in our day.
Unless you count ‘Horton Hatches an Egg’.
(We are currently social pariahs due to Aili’s recent cold. Thus we must entertain ourselves at home until other mommies want to play with us again.)
This playmat thing is the current favourite. First, we sucked on a toy:
There was tummy time (probably the most pathetic thing I’ve ever seen), which resulted in a bit of whining:
Then there was the orange daisy hanging in the sky. As you can see, some effort was made to reach it, but alas, she was completely foiled by her lack of muscle tone and fist-eye coordination.
Most of the rest of the time was simply spent hangin’ out, cooing and practicing vowel pronunciation (for example: “aaaiweowow”) and expressing a wide range of emotions. The kid has zero poker face.
Making eyes to make mommy’s heart melt:
If, by any remote possibility, this isn’t enough photos of the playmat adventure for you, don’t worry, I have about 120 more. Just email me and I’ll be glad to pass them on.
